Hi Folks!
FIRST OF ALL - remember that opinions here are MINE - they have nothing to do with TRUE or FUTURE!
I always had a tendency to see the world in dark, black colours... I am a pesimist and I cannot help it much.
I am trying to fight with this as well as I am trying to BELIEVE that this is just a silence before the storm and STEEM as well as other crypto will finally break this huge drop tendencies and start rising again bringing smiles to our faces, flowers, butterflies and chocolate cakes... and pink unicorns...
... but I simply don't believe, kill me, but I don't :(.
I think the whole crytpo market is in big regression after system, banks, countries even influencers started to fight against it.
The crypto market, to hold strong, needs huge investitions all the time, but most of the investors are good strategists and good bussinesmen - they won't stay on sinking ship - money is everything for them and thinking that Crypto is supported because of decentralized idea, anti-system rules and future thinking is simply NOT true at all.
Investors see ideas, of course, but also see the risks and probably have some advisers who keep their money and investitions safe...
It is like the engine idea, fueled by water - free energy sources for all!!! - Great idea which is deeply hidden in biggest safe of petrol companies...
I REALLY WAN'T TO BE WRONG about it - but I am really deeply , so DEEPLY worried about the future of the STEEM.
I am sure that all the applications, social media, all the games and other great ideas will survive, because people are IN THIS really strong and no matter of STEEM prizes, they will continue their great work!
I AM STAYING HERE, on this ship - don't think I am done because STEEM is becoming worthless... in moeny of course.
I will stay for two, maybe three reasons:
- I put a lot of my work, really a lot, to get to the point where I am now, and quitting now would be simply waste of that all time and work...
- I met a large group of great people who gave me huge amount of positive energy and inspirations, whose content I like to watch and follow.
- I am curious about the future, because there is still a really tiny flame of hope, that all the "experts" are right and STEEM will be finally properly valued.
So, let's hold tight hoping the best, doing what we do, don't take all the above as something real - it is JUST MY OWN PESIMISTIC OPINION - so, If You are thinking the same, or opposite ;) leave a comment so we can talk about it!

Couldn’t of said it better myself! I tried to last night but I went off course! Great post. I totally agree with you . Especially about the whole anti system and decentralised part. People invest to get Rich or if they like platform. Simple. I quite like my bank and don’t plan on retreating to a hut in the middle of a forest just yet .

Bitcoin is dead.
Glad there are altcoins that are generations ahead of BTC now. They just need more volume.
Time will show... Next year will be very decisive.
I'm happy you are a pessimist.... it gives us great dark pictures to look at ;-)
It's my opinion that there are no specialists in crypto world. I'm following the ins and outs of this world for over 2 years now... and all the so-called specialists are always wrong :-)
I don't think anybody can predict the way it is going...
I for myself continue to post on steemit. Why? Well, no matter what, I always post my pictures on social media... so why not on steemit. After all, when posting on facebook, insta or other social media you also get... nada, nothing,... On steemit you at least have a 'chance' that it will once pay you something... (or not ;-))
Very good approach for Steemit as a platform to post photos and if some money can be paid out any day in future - well, it will be just great ;). The biggest pain is just I saw the numbers and I see the dropping numbers - both in activity on STEEM platform and my account value - which is quite sad...
Anyway, I love dark moods, it is great "food" fo my pesimistic nature... ;)

I'm not hoping that steem would explode as well. The only way I see Steem would rise is with BTC rising. It's sad to see my Steemit account losing value every month but what the hell, happens.
And like you said...
For the same reason I don't see any sense in just quitting suddenly because I lost my money. Plus I actually enjoy posting my content here and communicate.
There is always too many "if" - it is really bad that STEEM relay on BTC so much. Maybe some day its value will be so big, that other crypto will relay on STEEM ... hahahaaa, who knows. Time will show!
I will try to be a bit more positive 😁👍 Bitcoin soon or later will bounce back no chance for bears 🐻 to break hodlers ✌️ and for steemit I see bright future. Not selling any positions in market and staying on steemit 😁
