How are you all doing today?
I'm just listening to Breaking Benjamin's newest song, Feed the Wolf (Link to Spotify). It's a good song. It fits their music, so I'm happy! It's happened before that artists I like go in a completely different direction. Luckily, Breaking Benjamin sticks to what they do best, rock!
I had a nice day yesterday. In the morning, I made my cookies:
I talked about them yesterday and they helped me through the day as a healthier snack for me. I still have plenty left for this weekend and maybe monday, since my boyfriend didn't enjoy them too much. They aren't bad, they just aren't special for him either. That's good, they weren't supposed to be, they were supposed to help me avoid bad snacks.
In the afternoon, I watched a bit of Netflix and then I rested on the couch a bit, because I was super tired. After that, my boyfriend came home and his sister and our nephew came over too. I played a bit of Pokemon Rumble World with him and then my mum arrived. We all headed over to my boyfriend's dad for dinner and me, my boyfriend and my mum stuck around to chat for a while after that.
Later in the evening, we went home, chatted a bit and watched The Big Bang Theory. Two new episodes again, yay! We went to bed earlyish, because my boyfriend had to go to work today. They have to do some system administrating things outside of regular working hours.
So, this morning I mostly chatted with my mum and then we went to the strawberry neighbour's shop to get some bread and extra veggies. My boyfriend's best friend is coming over for dinner today, so I had to scale up!
My mum left for home now and my boyfriend's not back yet. He was supposed to, but it's taking longer than they'd hoped. So, that means I've got some Steemit time! I've got music playing so I don't have to hear our direct neighbour the furniture maker and his people. They are now sitting right next to our kitchen wall again, which is one layer of wood and lets through much noise. I don't like saturday afternoons with them there, but I can't do much about it, so... music!
So tonight we'll have a guest! Then tomorrow, we can sleep in, which sounds great right about now. My boyfriend gets up an hour earlier for work than before now and I'm still getting used to our new schedule, sleep-wise.
Tomorrow, we'll go to my brother and his girlfriend! It's a late visit for his birthday and my mum, dad and his wife are coming too. We'll have dinner together, that should be fun. And after that, weekend is over!
Doesn't feel like weekend now, since my boyfriend isn't home. It's too quiet in our part of the building and not quiet enough in the neighbour's part. Oh well! I'll turn up the music a bit louder and start replying to my comments here.

This is a long shot, but since Pokemon Rumble World is a 3DS game, are you into Fire Emblem by chance? Just wondering.
Also to be honest, I clicked this article because - sigh I thought the cookies were fried chicken. I love fried chicken, and I - I mean I love cookies - but - I - Chicken - Cookies! nevermind.

Hahah, I'm so sorry for not delivering on that hope for chicken! I'll have to admit I've never made fried chicken myself! The cookies are nice, though not overly sweet (because of the whole 'avoiding sugar' thing), but they do not taste as good as fried chicken...
I've never played Fire Emblem, though I've always liked the idea of Fire Emblem... I don't buy games a lot, so the only two games I bought were a Mario Party game to play together with my boyfriend, and Zelda's Ocarina of Time, because well... it's awesome and nostalgia. Other than that, I only have Pokémon games on the 3DS, bought for us by my boyfriend.
No, I haven't seen House of Cards actually! People are always very excited about it, but it just didn't appeal to me yet. Maybe once I'm desperate to find a new show again.
Hahaha.
And that makes sense, I was just wondering.
And yes, it is a - dark show - but maybe you'll like it later, you can't really root for the characters, but it interesting to watch.
I hate when people do that, it's even worse when i try to study, i need total silence when i study, i can't even listen to song, and to hear people talking while i try to focus is awful!
Yeah, definitely! I always enjoy my peace and quiet, so having these neighbours in the same building is quite hard for me. Luckily they only open their showroom a couple of evenings a week and on saturday. It's just a shame that there's a table in the shared space, close to our wall, because that's the most annoying part. As long as they stay in their own space, it's not too bad.
