Good morning Steemit

How are you today?

We have a little bit of sunshine again this morning, after plenty of rain and wind. Actually, the wind is still pretty strong and will stay that way for some time yet. It's okay though, I'm inside with a nice, warm fire.

You haven't heard this in a while, but I'm training my horse in Black Desert Online. It's been a while, because I've been busy with a little ingame garden for some time and it's a while away from my horse training grounds. This morning, I decided to let my garden be and focus on my horse instead. Mainly so I don't have to touch the game, meaning I'm able to write here and do other internet stuffs.

Yesterday was a nice day. We decided we'd do nothing at all, but in the end, we did plenty. We went to this little food truck festival close-by and ate tasty food. Then later in the afternoon, my boyfriend's best friend came over for some archery. We asked him to stay for dinner, because we had a very upscalable dinner plan anyway.

In the evening, the three of us watched a movie, Kingdom of Heaven. I'd only seen it once before, years ago, and remembered I really liked it. It was a good movie to see again.

Tonight was a bit annoying. It was really windy and the wood in the cabin was creaking like crazy! We also had something slam shut from time to time, which we didn't know what it was. In the middle of the night, I decided to try our bedroom window. Turns out, it doesn't close well, so that's what was making the noise! We fixed it up and haven't heard it again since. Atleast that's that problem fixed!

Oh, and yesterday, I send in my job application for another part-time job. This one is a little closer by and in the same city as my boyfriend's job, so we might be able to carpool sometimes. It's 24-32 hours, but I'll be asking for 24, because I want to have enough free time left. I just don't see myself working a fulltime job again any time soon, but a part-time job would be nice to be able to pay for my house, until I empty it out and put it on the market to sell.

My boyfriend's house should hit the market this week. All forms have been handed in, so it's all up to them now! I really hope it gets sold soon. It would be one of the big weights lifted off our shoulders. My house being the next one that needs to be lifted. Gotta empty out the cabinets in the cabin first though. They still hold my boyfriend's father's things and that needs to be cleaned out before we can move in all of our things. Not too much of a problem, it just needs some work.

My plans for today are few I guess. Maybe make some icecreamy things, but ideally, I'll have to empty out some extra popsicle forms first. We'll see. I'm very tired, because I slept so horrible last night, so I'll take it easy today. Train horses and such. And write about the food truck festival if I don't forget!

Have a good day!

Sorry for my funny question, but I've seen: "I just don't see myself working a fulltime job again". Negative experience?
PS. Honestly, I don't see myself on fulltime too :D

I've had two burnouts in the past and I don't want to go there again. It's not a problem if you really enjoy your job, but I don't think I'll find one where I will enjoy most things I do. I'd rather play it safe and have plenty of free time to recharge :-)

I see and agree, it can be not so easy to find a decent job which don't test your nervous system.
Free time is valueable :-)

Morning! That sounds good sitting in by the 🔥!

It is so good! Though just now, when trying to open the wood stove, I burned my little finger... gotta be more careful! :D

Youchy! Big gloves needed!

Aye! Though they don't work so well when you're grabbing next to them :D

Every time you mention a game I never played in your blog - I feel the temptation:) And little goblins in my head whisper: "Gooooo, gooo plaaaay it":):):)

Haha, yes, I understand the feeling! Luckily, I mainly play one game right now (except on patch days... I try out others on patch days...), so there won't be too many different temptations :D

I regularly play only three of them (well, marathon twice a year lol:), all the others are temptations:)

Yeah, I mostly stick to one or two games aswell. I can't focus on multiple games at once! Had my World of Warcraft period, my Guild Wars and Guild Wars 2 periods and now I'm on Black Desert Online :-)

Mine are Lord of the Rings on-line and Star Wars the old republic, also MMORPG:) WoW when my hubby has enough time to make me a company:)

Food Truck Festival! Yes! I love those!
Always great food to be found there.

This was actually my first one! So exciting! It was a small one, but the food was nice. I'd love to visit a bigger one some day :-)

Weather is terrible here today, rain has caused floods which delayed my train this morning by 20 minutes! Haha..so how've you been??

Oh bah! Floods suck! I'm actually a bit worried about all of the rain flooding my house this week, but so far, I haven't seen any worrying Facebook posts from the neighbourhood. I did all I could to keep most rooms safe by pasting duct tape in between door posts to the bathroom and storage. I'm hardly there anymore, since we moved to the cabin, so can't mop up water as it comes in :-)

Actually, the duct tape already caught two of our local big spiders! I will be glad to never see those again.

Anyway! I've been good! As I said, we moved to the cabin, which is nice. Some things to get used to, like creaking wood and achieving a good temperature with the wood stove, but all in all it's nice here. We can practice archery in our own backyard, which is awesome. Still looking for a part-time job with my heart not really in it, but I'd hate to spend all of my savings on my house if I don't manage to sell it soon enough! Gotta get us moved into the cabin completely asap, so I can start selling it :D

So that's a long enough story! How have you been?
