It was a long ride...

in #blog4 years ago

I guess that I was a long time on that horse I posted about getting back on, two years ago.

I'm pleased to be back just when Hive seems to be doing what I (and others) hoped that Steem would achieve.

I feel like I burned it clean going through the fires of the last two years, and I'm going to share what I've learned along the way.

My focus is still around writing and creation, with a tinge of fitness and survival, and a seasoning of gaming.

One thing that I do remember from Steem is that things work best in life when I am a giver. So now I'm on the lookout for places and people on Hive where I can make a contribution and we all rise.

I'm very pleased to see some familiar faces such as @revisesociology here already and going from strength to strength!

(EDIT) so I initially tried posting this last night, and the post failed due to my only having about half of the RC needed to post. I had only just posted a comment over on @zord189 's post about power delegation for newcomers, so maybe I used some RC on that? In any case, I didn't know just how prescient it was that I had held my hand up for some delegation assistance regarding Hive Power. I woke up this morning to find that @bobskibob had very amazingly and generously delegated me 100HP. So now having been given the Talents, I can get out there and use them.

I'm glad you can finally start posting more and won't have to worry about having limitations after commenting. :)

Thanks @zord189 your kindness has multiplied everything :-)

Welcome back! I took about a year hiatus from Steem myself!
Followed.. looking forward to seeing some good posts!

Thanks @nicksmitley I'm feeling good about being here, and I'm looking forward to creating loads of fun stuff. I'm just sniffing out 3Speak at the moment to see if that's what I might use to post gaming videos (and other videos). It all feels very positive :-)
