(1) BE SELFISH WITH YOUR TIME AND OWN YOURSELF
Try study yourself, learn your dislikes and likes, your favorite colors and favorite meals. Shut the noise out. Live your own life for yourself and not for men or any one else. Practice and learn your own love language on yourself. Wear clothes that make you feel more confident, do things that make you happy. Be open to try new things, take calculated risk. Be optimistic, you may not be where you want to be yet but persistent and hard work will take you there. Do not be afraid to apply for jobs you think are above your skills, work on your crafts, grow your portfolio, as long as you are open to learning. What is the worst that can happen? It’s okay if you do not have enough money for Santorini, Maldives, Bora Bora and other fancy Instagram places that have been subconsciously put in our minds. Things do not always have to be serious, even when you are not looking for long term relationships, you can have your mind focused on other things like your goals and career.
Romantic relationships can be open relationships, polygamous relationships, polyamorous relationships, polyandrous relationships e.t.c. Fall in love with men/women, if that is what works for you. Never forget that you can’t always have all the answers, you learn as time goes on.
(4) DO THINGS OUTSIDE YOUR CONFORT ZONE.
Never think that other people are doing better than you are, do not be deceived by what you see on social media. You may feel left out because you think your age mates are driving the latest cars and owning the latest luxury items and are even more successful than you are, but what you need to know is that no one has cheat codes to this thing called LIFE, and people are just taking it as it comes.
You may have no idea where your skills lye yet and that’s okay. Try out different things that you like and things that may interest you. Meet new people that can elevate you and bring opportunities your way. Most importantly, step out of your comfort zone, you will learn new things and meet new people. Be persistent but also gentle with yourself.
(5) INVEST YOUR TIME, MONEY AND ENERGY.
