The markets rise. And fall.
Creative juices gush. And dry up.
Cycles repeat. And in the mid-term, lazy days...

So easy to get caught up in the excitement as the universe's forces carry us upward through waves of increasing energy, flooding hearts with enthusiasm and psyches with optimism.
So easy to fall victim to our own short-sightedness in the step back before the next two forward.
And in that in-between, so difficult, sometimes, to simply relax in the space where the most appropriate thing is to do nothing. To chill out. Rest. Retreat. Take an extended breather. Recoup.

When did ambition become so revered?
How did we forget nature's pace?
What must it take to remember the beauty of the lazy days?
![](https://images.hive.blog/768x0/https://s17.postimg.org/vuba5yb1r/owl.jpg)
Those days, the juice runs out.
The bed beckons.
Motivation out for extended lunch.

Smart-mode, on pause.
The most menial, in slow motion.
Netflix & chill.

So the journey goes.
Eventually, night must come.
Crazy, one would go, without the proper sleep every now and then.

Hesitation, or recalibration?
A time out from questioning, perhaps.
Would we ever see ourselves clearly without such space to reflect?

Moments of simplification.
Stepping back from engagement.
So essential, may perhaps be, these lazy dayz...

I have always thought of myself mostly as a "creative slacker" and rejected the whole "ambition" thing from a pretty young age.
I really appreciate this post as what I really get from it is a reminder to live. And what are we, really? Human BE-ings, right? Not Human HAVE-ings or Human DO-ings...
Maybe part of the overall process of "coming of age" as a species will also revolve around learning what is enough and being content with that, rather than always busting our butts in the relentless pursuit of more.
LOL, you are always one of the best commenters ever on the Steemit DMG.
We are lucky to know you.
Awesome and well written, Nice explanation. @rok-sivante

I like lazy days. You can step back from exchanges, wallets, and trading, but you can't step back from steemit. Or is just me?
What do you think of this?
"Any man who reads too much and uses his own brain too little falls into lazy habits of thinking."
How true is this statement about being lazy?
Good nice my friends
I dont know......but its like I'm seeing this writeup from a different perspective. A cursory look at what has been done and what should be done which seemingly looks difficult brings to mind comment like "I have tried" consequently resorting to maintaining a relaxed posture. One thing to take home from here is wen is seemingly look darkest is a signal that we are at the verge of 'hitting' it. Nice writeup with good images...
Hm...hm...lazy you say. Well, not everything is crypto trading, or is it?
I don't think so, neither do you.
I have the feeling that we are on the same mood today with some slight differences not worth mentioning.
It is amazing what we find and see when we slow down and look around. It maybe lazy or it may just be appreciating life unto itself.
You are wise @rok-sivante. Your sentences are neatly arranged. In my opinion, self-introspection is better. Calculate what has been given and what has been received. Greetings me from Aceh, Indonesia. Regards.
Days to sit back, relax and do absolutely nothing are essential for me.
It's hard to do for sure, with the ever-growing and rapidly developing market, even a day out of the loop makes you feel weeks behind.
I usually take Sundays to just sit back, put on some movies and catch up properly with my family. Best way to prepare for a new week!

Yep.
Important for a balance of all things including rest and recharging and reflection my man.
This post reminded me of my #DigitalDetox series a lot.
I am so glad I do not run around like in my younger days trying to be everything to everyone.
Another great post by you.
-- thanks for everything. It is appreciated.
