I think you're right @romangt87 next big step is to make the vehicles self-sufficient, by magnetism, or solar panels etc. however until Tesla get's a cheaper and better solution. Toyota and VW will rule the market.
Here in Canada, it's slowly gaining its popularity. If they further improve the infrastructure, i.e. more charging stations in the city and continuous incentive from the government to do re-bate for people who purchase green vehicles - then it's going to explode in the Canadian market in the long term! Just my two cents :)
Now I realized that I had no idea about the main players on the market. I mean I know pretty much every automaker, but how strong they were - no idea. Thank you for sharing.
