Hey you guys, we made it to 500! I know that isn't a lot, but it’s our first mile-marker together. I want to thank you all for being awesome supporters of my endeavors and am glad that you all are joining me on this online journey! I haven’t really been developing much on this platform in the past six months, but I’ve been brainstorming on a few ideas and I am proud to announce what’s soon to come like inspirational quotes, a series called Help the People, a satirical series, and TED Tuesdays!
With the inspirational quotes, my goal is to take quotes from people I feel have made me the person I am today. With this, I plan to give you all what I have taken from the quote, how I’ve implemented the advice in my daily life, possibly a time that I didn’t and just go from there. I hope with this, I can develop a bond with all of you lovely people. I hope from this that you all will comment what you think and also relatable past experiences as well.
Help the People is going to be a series that does what its title says: help the people. I have always wanted to be a philanthropist when I grow up, but I had realized in middle school that I can do that now… While, being a college student, I may not have the money, I have the time and time is priceless. So, this is just a series of what I do to help my community and the people in my community. I hope this series will encourage others to take a stand as well because this nation cannot be brought out of the hate without love, and that happens one person at a time.
While I’m kinda doing an overview of the projects to come, my satirical series is going to stay a mystery until the prologue is uploaded so keep your eyes out for that. My plan is to post this next week.
Lastly, TED Tuesdays! So, when I was going to the Math and Science school in my home state, one thing that we would often do is watch one TED talk a week and evaluate the talk and how we could implement the knowledge we had acquired from it in our daily lives. I loved this aspect of school so much because 1, TED talks are awesome and 2, I love unconventional learning. My goal is to give you all a TED talk to watch and to do commentary and see what you all think as well!
