Gatherings together
food cooked and ready to eat
Room full of laugher kids running around
Adults chatting at the table telling kids
Lower the sound
Broken homes broken bones
Cause when daddy takes drugs
And mommy hits with ropes
That's what family has become
Can never runaway because
You've a got a young grandmom
Who still goes to the club to have fun
Grandad gets a lil cranky
when he doesn't have a flask of rum
Not what it was once before
Generations have deteriorated the value
But dear they tell you welcome to the family
