I had a last minute 12 hour drive to Edmonton to visit my grandmother. Long time to be on the road and not looking forward to the drive home. I remember as a kid feeling claustrophobic when leaving the mountains out into the prairies. Like there was too much air and nothing to protect me from the atmosphere. I really didn't like it. But now it's a completely different feeling. A sense of adventure comes over me, like I can see everywhere so I need to be everywhere. And the skies.... skies for miles, sunshine for days and incredible cloud patterns that I don't get to enjoy at home. Because I was driving, I didn't get to snap any pictures but here are a few my mom caught for me.
I will try to take some better photos on the drive home and share some adventures while I am here.
Keep Steeming.
