I'm wanting to offset the wall of stream posts with some more regular written posts about random subjects.. So here we are another post about something..

That something is what I'm generally doing in terms of my hive account and how I'm currently growing it.

Current contributers to account growth

Hive witness

Currently that main thing growing my account in size has been my HIVE witness.

I've been running it for over 3 years now, spending that time slow grinding my way up the ranking to where I am now.

Hivewitness

I'm actually pretty high up there so thank you everyone who votes for me! I really appreciate it and I'd like to add that at this rank my witness is technically breaking even. I say technically because I don't actually withdraw anything from HIVE at the moment.

But in terms of USD value the amount generated from the witness is now just about higher than the electric consumed by the server.

Curation

I follow @dagamers curation trail which pretty much covers all my needs in terms of spending vote power. Curation is my seconds biggest generator of HIVE.

Stream posts (dagamers.xyz) & author rewards

Streaming is like my main thing, Since there is no longer on proper platform on HIVE to directly stream too, I simply stream on twitch.tv and embed it in posts via dagamers.xyz.

Drips

Lastly we have dividends and drips which are paid weekly~ish, doesn't amount to much yet but as with all of these projects they are a slowly accumulating thing that gets better as time goes on.

The plan going forward

For the most part the witness and curation are just going to continue as is as my primary growth for HP.

Over the last month I've been selling HBD post rewards on the internal market for HIVE and powering it up but now I'm changing that and moving the HIVE to hive-engine and building up some liquidity in diesel pools on various assets I own a good amount of.

I also want to get some more tokens on various dividend tokens at least till I have maybe $50 worth of each.

And if at some point these tokens eventually bridge on to VSC when it goes mainnet I'll move everything there as honestly I don't like hive-engine all that much.

The drips will also feed into build liquidity and buying tokens since they arrive as liquid HIVE.

Once I'm happy with my hive-engine token assets I'll likely pivot back into accumulating more HBD savings from post rewards.

I'm actually going to use the HIVE in my HIVE savings to boost the hive-engine stuff as I've dropped a lot of delegations recently and am able to power down a lot if I should need to.

Speaking of power downs

I'm likely not going to power down unless HIVE hits $1, When it hits that price I'll likely cash out a bit of HIVE. It depends if the amount I get will have any meaningful impact on my day to day life.

I'm sorta in the mind to grow my account until I can do a powerdown each month that actually gives me enough to make big changes in my life.
