Well, long and behold, we’ve promised a new post on SteemIt post and if we promise, we deliver. This was taken on a colder summery evening, so long pants was a must, but a tee was still enough.
It has taken me a while to jump on the mom-jeans bandwagon, simply just because.. well… mom-jeans don’t suit every body type and let’s say mine definitely was not intended for mom jeans. I do, however, love the look, so after a lot of hmmm-ing and haaa-ing, I finally took the leap and purchased myself a nice simple mom jean. And can I just say, I am in love! They are so comfortable, and unlike skinny jeans, you can wear them on all sorts of days and moods.
While I loved the mom-jean look, I did not want to go from young to old that quick, so I thought I’d keep it sassy with a tee with some attitude, like this one from Brandy Melville, which says “Cute but Psycho” on it. See? I like to keep it balanced. Some mom-factor, some psycho-factor, you get a bit of everything.
I do think that the mom-jean trend is one of those fashion trends which women L-O-V-E and obsess over, allthewhile our boys will scratch their heads and think.. “Why?”. Don’t you think that there are so many trends like this? I fully believe that women wake up in the morning getting dressed to impress other women, and not men. Men simply do not understand trends like mom-jeans and don’t even get me started on harem pants ;). Am I right? What are your thoughts of mom-jeans? Let me know your opinion!
