Lets take a break from all the serious Steemit related posts on this site and take a few minutes to enjoy a simple outfit post.
I know this post may not be for all of your liking, but for me, its nice to take a break away from all the serious posts we find on here and do something more light-hearted.
I spent this past weekend with my parents.
To be honest, going home was exactly what I needed. I fell sick and it has been haunting me for a while now, so my body has been very frustrated with me. It had been calling out for some good ol’ rest and recovery. Which is exactly what I got when I was home.
When you’re sick, or even when you’re not, nothing beats the comfort of your own childhood room and Mum’s tender love and affection.. and not to forget, Mum’s delicious cooking! Mum being.. well, Mum(how else could I describe her) pampered me back to health and then pampered me some more.
Fall is full on in motion and you can now no longer step out of your door without a warm jacket and some thicker layers. We took these pictures out and about in Zürich and luckily enough the sun came out to stay.
On this particular sunny day, I decided to dress up but just fancy and comfortable enough to be strolling about town.I combined my ASOS denim shirt with this nude Zara skater skirt and threw on my tweed Mango coat. I blinged it all up with this gorgeous Baublebar bib (similar), my gorgeous shiny Love Is B’O rings and a vintage silver leaf ring Julie and I always argue over who it belongs to. To pull the look together, I threw on my trusted Massimo Dutti crocodile pattern purse (I swear, this is coming with me everywhere recently!) and my gorgeous Balenciaga slingback sandals.
These heels were a birthday gift to me a few years back and I just adore them. They’re high enough to make you (ahem, me) look tall, but not high enough where I can’t walk around naturally.
I flicked my hair around a bit here and there, smiled for the camera, and soon enough we were off to grab some coffee and catch up, as per our usual.
