Maintaining healthy fit feet is crucial to your health. Take care of your feet, they do a lot for you.
Your feet allow you to walk and stand up.
I work out my feet daily & take care of them as if I were a professional dancer & I find it lengthens your legs & well creates very pretty feet.
EASY Daily Ballet TIPS
As you are walking around your home .. doing dishes - putting away dishes - taking a shower - getting out of the shower - just want to go make something to eat - going outside to water the garden.. oh just about anytime and anywhere and then it will form into a habit .. you will also notice the lower leg mucsles will start to show up.
Stand up tall ALWAYs .. take your stomach and like magnet pull it in slightly to a comfortable place within .. then move around while you walk as if you are a ballerina for as long as you like .. but never over do it. You will find you are much taller and if you make this a habit then you find everytime you do that activity you will remember to become a ballet dancer .. but in this case you are just walking .. if you start dancing then please be advised prior as to the techniques to prevent injury.
When you are laying down doing anything at all .. say on the couch or the bed - point your feet for as long as you like then withdraw to the pull your feet toward your body.. now do that again .. continue to work this for a few minutes .. rest and do another set.
Then take some time to work on the arches of your feet .. instead of pointing your feet simply create the best arch you can with your feet and hold it for what feels comfortable .. now do it again .. continue to work this for a few minutes .. rest all you like .. inbetween sets because this feels so good and is so easy. It is nice to feel it all the way thru to relax states.
These exercises (if you want to call them exercises) manifest flexibility - strength & prevent injury all the while improving your posture & balance. You will see the more you do these the less prone you are to injury.
I always say to slow down some .. glide your body .. love your body by giving it the small little love it needs to move around and be a flowing human on this planet.
