We were a little short of cash but needed a night away so decided to put the back seats down in the car, load the boot up with airbeds/duvets, drive in a random direction and go car camping.
We ended up finding a spot in beautiful Exmoor.
Our bed for the night (surprisingly comfortable)
The wife has wine which I can't drink in case I have to move the car blah
Spotted a herd (or is it troop?) of horses.
Our friends are getting nearer.
They must be curious as right up to car now. Like that isn't going to scare the crap out off me when it's pitch dark later.
All in all, it was a fun (although a slightly creepy) night away that only cost a little bit of fuel, a bottle of wine and some sandwiches. Also, we didn't get murdered whilst we slept which is a plus.
How little do we need sometimes to feel happy 😊 an evening on the nature lap 🍀🌄 I love such spontaneous trips, and I think that your trip was also very pleasant and successful! The most important is the positive attitude 👍
Yea. I love these sort of trips. Always seem to get the most out of the spontaneous ones. Planned trips rarely go the way you want so best just not to have a plan and go for it
