Saint Sulpice Seminary
Did you know that Saint Sulpice Seminary is the second oldest building in Montreal? It was founded in 1657 by the Society of Priests of Saint Sulpice. Construction began in 1684 by Francois Dollier de Casson and finished in 1687. The clock was added in 1713. The building was dedicated to the education of the priests and to mission work among the aboriginals of New France.
