RE: The return of my REGULAR posts, and reflections on how and why you should even bother

in #blog7 years ago

Inspiring read. I get passionate but feel that the whole world and his dog already know the stuff, have written it or simply don't care. I quickly lose heart when I see awesome posts (followed by the "oh I wished I'd thought of that" syndrome). As you know, I don't do it for the money. Maybe I should. However, I take on board the whole thing and once I've sorted a few bits I may join you all with better posts and a little more fun. In the meantime, I will keep on reading :)

Nobody here is creating groundbreaking research untouched by the human mind. Everybody is just re-jiggling information in their own style in their own order. As in, I might take already-known knowledge from 17 different sources and combine them into one, thus making a unique post with my own voice in my own direction. None of it is stuff nobody knew though.

What is to be considered also is that steemit has people from all over the world, who share different knowledge and experiences from what you're typically useful, so it's worth more than ever sharing one's views
