RE: Better You #3 : Investing $1000 in Steem. Inside suffering is the seed of change.

I am also trying to understand the pros and cons of investing into Steem. I sometimes feel it's going to be beneficial but on the other hand I also feel that the meager SP my investment will be able to buy me will not be worthwhile.

With the kind of disparity built into the system (biased towards big money and early adopters) which has created an insurmountable rich-poor divide within Steemit, I think it's easy to get demotivated with all the posts and discussions I have been reading about self-voting and voting-bot abuse. It seems to me that even a lot of hard work may not translate into even a fraction of the what early adopters have achieved.

I feel you a 100% and I think you are very correct. At the same time, I don't believe that Steem per se will go down looking a mid-horizon, thus I don't think that I will loose money on the investment even if I were to pull out (for some reason) in X years.

Although the early adopters might have quite a big fraction as you're saying, I think that looking back a year or two from the future, people will consider us quite early adopters as well, and referring to my own journey it's definitely not to late to gain a large amount of followers and traction. 🙏🏼

Thank you for a good comment 🤟🏼
