Awesome Sculptures of Giants at Suvarnabhumi Airport, Thailand

in #blog11 days ago

On 28th March, while I was planning to leave my home to go to Suvarnabhumi Airport to say good-bye to my friend who was going to depart for Japan, I found that my house shaked so hard. (I was on the 3rd floor) At first, I thought I myself felt dizzy. But, some furniture in my room was also moving. Once I realized that it’s an earthquake, I was so excited because it’s the first time in my life to encounter such an earthquake. I immediately ran to Titan’s and De-i’s room. As far as I know, most cats are sensitive to earthquakes, but that’s not Titan and De-i, they were sleeping comfortably on the table…. I felt a little bit released.

The earthquake made many people panic and excited. One high building with 33 floors in Bangkok which is now under construction collapsed. There are some deaths and injuries and there are still missing persons in the ruins. The rescuers were trying very hard to find the survivals. I regret their loss.

That day, all the sky trains and subway trains were closed, and the traffic was jammed. It’s very hard to find any (grab) cars to take me to the Suvarnabhumi Airport and it took 30 minutes to get the car and another 1.30 hours driving to the airport….

After meeting my friend at the airport, I walked around inside and outside the airport to take some photos for you.

There are some sculptures of giants that look outstanding and awesome.

There are other interesting things inside….

There are also some interesting things outside…

That night I arrived home late because of the heavy traffic after the earthquake. I was very tired and hardly slept.
