RE: A new car for my birthday

in #blog7 years ago (edited)

My husband convienced me years ago when you buy used cars 99% of the time you are buying someone else problems they did not want to fixed. Then we sat down and I wrote down the used cars I have had over a 5 year period and discovered with repairs I was spending just as much as a new car costs.

Sort:

The repairs can be a drag. But we've had great luck with foreign cars - BMW, Saabs, and Volvo especially. The Prius I drive now was my grandfather and he bent the frame driving it across a parking lot median, but despite a little shimmy on the highway it hasn't needed any work.
