hey there
In every sphere of endeavor, our primary aim is to attain the highest level of success, every Doctor, Engineer, Dentist, Scholar, Businessman, Trader etc wants to be reckoned with, man has an insatiable desire for success.
But then, with every success level comes an even bigger dimension of challenge, right?
Growing up as a kid, I could recall getting gifts and "free rides" each time I came out as one of the best in my class, but this did not last very long because with every promotion secured, I began to notice how difficult it was to keep up with staying on top. Suddenly, I needed to pay more attention in class, stay up at night to read ahead of others, being top in the class never came as easy as it used to. Then I realized, Every battle won, only qualifies you for and even bigger battle. I began recording some "failures" in some courses and it wasn't very palatable... but then,
Success is not final, Failure is not fatal, it's the courage to continue that counts.
If after every every milestone marked/ victory recorded one goes on a "sabbatical leave", then you'd be surprised how quickly a mediocre is born.
success is progressive, not instantaneous.
this means that staying successful requires more work than what it may have take to attain the particular height or level of success already achieved.
That is why most people never get to enjoy true success, they want the glitzy, rich, comfort of instant success.
When they are presented with opportunities that require them to work and struggle for months and years they do not opt for it.
In essence,
Do not let one achievement get into your head, REJOICING FOR TOO LONG OVER AN ACHIEVED GOAL IS DANGEROUS
In fact, success is "getting back to work or staying disciplined" even after becoming a champ.
Success is mastering ourselves. When we succeed within, rewards are just for the picking.
