RE: Try Googling "American Inventors" The Results Are Astounding - Reshaping History

in #blog7 years ago (edited)

You know, I am very critical when acknowledging invention. I see a lot of them just as a simple enhancement of already existing technology.

The Internet might be the best example. It is no technological invention. You had computers before and you could let computers communicate with each other before, the internet is only a scaling of that method and thus no new technology.

Apart from software and hardware for PCs and their applications we had barely any inventions since the 50s. I think the rockets for space travel were still based on the German V2 Rockets, at least the russian and post cold war ones.

It is very arguable if the American World Leadership really brought us as much technology as it claims.

AI is a buzzword as well. If you are talking about machine learning then this can actually be quite a simple process and really far away from what the human mind does. You remember the racist AI that had to get banned after 1 day?

Sort:

hmmm....I understand your point. But then...

Himalayan yogi shamans and other shamans are basically responsible for the creation of humanity and our world. We are merely standing on their ancient and illuminated shoulders. Atoms bombs, space ships, all foundational knowledge of health, mind, psychology, ego, consciousness, subconsciousness, and infinite possibilities were relayed long ago...

And this (reality) is all likely, HIGHLY LIKELY, a simulation and therefore nothing has been invented and humans are star shit.

Furthermore, life is likely infinite and all of our inventions have been replicated infinitely in an infinite amount of other worlds.

So if you are looking to see the glass jaded or half full, there is a hell of a view available.

On the other hand, we are purely fu*king amazing and continue to invent and innovate like a species of SkyyWalkers and there is no limit to what we will individually and collectively bring about in the years to come.

That is what I see...to the best of my ability...now....right now...
