RE: The Struggle Is Real. BUT. Curly Hair Don't Care

in #blog7 years ago

I totally love your curly hair. It looks so beautiful and healthy.Hi @arrliinn,

I have a curly hair as well, unfortunately I grew up to hate it (was teased by the family for it). I tried a couple of years ago to accept it and love it as is, but I wasn't as good as you in taking care of it until it became very brittle and unhealthy. So I decided to just get rid of it completely (its very short now, shorter than most men).

I am happy for what it is right now, it is a lot easier to take care of it (or not do anything at all). But oh my God, when I see other girls with long natural curly hair I totally admire them and love the way they look with it so happy, healthy and confident (like you). I hope to be able to love my hair and accept it, so it would love me back

Thanks for sharing :D

Thanks for dropping by @theleapingkoala! Oh it took me some time to embrace my curly hair too, especially when most girls in PH have straight hair. You will very seldom see Filipinas with curly hair.

But now I realized that the hair will "tame" if we know how to properly care for it. I am still looking out for my "holy grail" curly hair product and the journey continues. 😉 Hope you get to have your luscious curls back soon!

Thanks for your reply and support dear @arrliinn :D
