The founder of Al-Muwahhidun dynasty in Morocco full name Abu Muhammad Abdul Mu'min ibn Ah ibn Alawi ibn Ya'Ia. Abdul Mu'min is a bloody figure of Berber Zenata and the Anti-Atlas region, born in late 487 H / 1095 AD in Tlemcen, a mountainous area in eastern Aijazair. Since young, the son and a craftsman of this piece of glassware has been known as the prosecutor of science who diligently worship.

In 512 AH / 1118 AD, this son of Ah ibn Abu Thahib went to Makkah to perform the pilgrimage. On his way home and the Holy City, he met with Bin Tumart near Bejaya, Aijazair. Immediately established similarities of opinion and action in the movement of Al-Amr bi Al-Ma'rûf wa Al-Nahy'an Al-Munkar (spread virtue and refuse munkar) between the two. It is not unusual for a later to become a strong supporter of lbn Tumart when Hbn Tumart declares himself as "Al-Mahdi awaited his arrival" or Al-Mahdi Al-Muntazhar and calls himself Amir Al-Mu'minin for the Al-Muwahhidun Movement. Mu'min was later elected as a member of the Assembly of Ten People who accompanied lbn Tumart.

After Ibn Tumart passed away in 525 AH / 1130 AD, Abdul Mu'min appeared as Chairman of the Al-Muwahhidun Movement without announcing the death of the three-year-old chairman until he was recognized as the new chairman. After a long struggle, both politically and militarily, with the support of the Berber Zenata, finally in 545 AH / 1147 AD, the movement succeeded in establishing a new dynasty, the Al-Muwahhidun dynasty, with the newly built capital city, Ribath Al Fath (The Winepress of Victory), and his first leader, Abdul Mu'min. Having succeeded in steering his power to the region of Andalusia, Abdul Mu'min fell ill suddenly to death on Wednesday night, 10 Jumada Al-Tsaniyah 558 H / 15 May 1163 M.
