Hope it goes well with all!!! Well I’M sitting in front of the computer, and thinking what can I write today, but I already got my answer....
Wqhile I’M sitting and writing my son came in the room, asking “mommy what are you doing?”So I said my son im busy working. He gave me a hug and said okay mommy that’s good I love you mommy and gave me a hug and a kiss and went to play.
This morning I asked my mom what does she want to eat tonight. She said she really wants to eat a burger
she asked me if I can make the buns because we are far from town. Im going to make it from scratch. We are struggling with the power again today, we had a storm last night. When the thunder are heavy here we struggle with power and the thunder is in the air again.
Anyway if the power goes off again today I cant make buns but fatcake, but for lucky I could make the buns. It's in the oven.
Well the buns are ready we tasted one with nice butter it's Chrispy outside inside very soft.
Here are my recipe for my buns i use the same recipe for fatcake
8 cups of cake flour or bread flour
1 Tbs salt
2×10g of yeast
30g of sugar
30g of oil
1Litre warm water not hot just warm.
When you put all the ingredients together you kneed it for about 10minutes and then you rub you hands with a bit of oil and rub it around the dough.
Put it aside for about 2 hours I take a plastic bag and cover the dough in a bowl.
After 2 hours kneed it again and make balls and put it in a oven pan and in the oven on 50°degrees for half an hour . And then bake it for about 50minutes in the oven.
My husband made some nice homemade patties with a nice mushrooms and onions relish what we also can put on on the nice burger 🍔 there are also some nice tomatoes 🍅and pineapple rings.
Well the burger was very tasty and loved the home
made burger.
Well hope I can go to bed early I'm actually very tired tonight 😴don't know why. Enjoy your day/ night it's night time here in South Africa
I must tell this quickly. Before my son went to bed he told me. Mommy you are my best friend. He actually had tears in his eyes when he told me that. Now I'm so emotional. I just want to kiss him hug him. He's so adorable 😍
