I think there are quite a few people here in steemit who have aspergers or some type of borderline autism. Education about aspergers and many other conditions is key to understanding how we can effectively interact with each other using methods that avoid confrontation and exacerbation.

However, while I feel its important to make people with Aspergers feel safe and others aware of the situation, there's also a personal responsibility, on the part of the person having aspergers or autism, not to let the condition become an excuse for acting out or having the expectation that rules will be changed to suit them.

Sort:  

there are no excuses in life, but it's good to have some understanding.

agree totally. understanding and patience is tantamount.
