Its something like giving with expect receiving.
Don't you have the feeling sometimes that those who do so much for us and ask for appreciation, very often do nothing? If you hep somebody expecting something back or you have an interest in your action, you actually do something for yourself, not for the others.
Sometimes its good to not expect anything in return, so you won't be disappointed. If extra help comes, thats great. If not, then I will not stop doing what I do :)
