Lovely post. I loved the sincerity in this post. We truly can do more together than we can do alone. It is the same in my country. Everybody is striving and no one seems to Want to assist the other. Those who have, ignore those who lack or give them just enough so they can come back for more. It is a sad situation but it is the reality on ground.
I will not lie, I came to steemit in order to escape my empty bank balance. Here I have discovered that you can't truly make it if you pursue a capitalist bent in your dealings. Steemit is made in such a way that you benefit from helping those about you. This I have witnessed for myself.
For those of us who can help, who have the knowledge, the skill, the finances to make another's vision become a reality, please do. I guarantee you will be glad you did.
