Rocking Out

in #blog7 years ago

I woke up this morning and I feel free. I am looking forward to making it back home to family and friends. Honestly at this point I am not sure how that is going to take place but it has to because it is time.  I am listening to some old Steve Vai from the passion and warfare album. If you have no idea who this guy is I suggest you take a listen.

There is a storm coming to the area. They are expecting something like 8 to 15 inches of snow to fall starting tomorrow.  I laugh at them mostly. When I first moved to North Dakota all the folks from here were always telling me how bad their winters are. It does get cold and it is almost always windy but their winters are nothing special. Having moved here from one of the snowiest places in the USA I expected more.

I also expected people to keep their word and etc but I guess that has become as rare as common sense in today's day and age.  It has become almost funny to me.  Many people run around and claim they want honesty but most are not even honest with themselves much less other people.  I always feel like I have been unknowingly transported to a dimension that I do not recognize.  Oh well we must soldier on until we reach the end of our journey.
