Do you love 80’s movies? Do you want to watch a series that’s able to capture the essence of such beloved 80’s classics as Poltergeist, ET, Aliens and Goonies? Then you’ll love Netflix’s “Stranger Things”. This show is AWESOME. The cast is AWESOME. Wynona Ryder is in it and she plays a mother who’s looking for her lost son in this summer sci-fi-horror and she is brilliant in it. We haven’t seen much of her lately but Wynona is back with a vengeance!
Stranger things has everything you want in a great show. It’ suspenseful, scary, comedic and it even has a little romance. Trust me if you watch it you will not be disappointed. Especially if your nostalgic about the 80’s. The show’s creators (the Duffer brothers), set designers and prop crew deserve an award because they not only manage to produce a hit show but they also meticulously managed not to miss anything when it came to down to transporting the viewer back to the 80’s both visually and mentally. With such things as 80’s clothes, hair and cars. While also not missing the little details such as 80’s tupperware, lingo’s and toys.
The creators of the show the Duffer brothers did a phenomenal job with this summer hit series that even the master of sci-fi horror Stephen King would be proud of. The horror is real, the emotions are real and the characters are great. Honestly I couldn’t stop clinching my blanket and putting it over my face like some scared child but I also couldn’t stop watching it nor laughing at some of the comedic scenes and when you see it , you won’t either.
