i used to. not anymore.
i might start using them again next year, depending on how SMTs play out :)

Thank you for your interesting answer. It was helpful.

i hope it is :)
if SMTs make it so that we no longer have to rely on manual curation by a few whales that have most of the stakes, steem might have a bright future.
otherwise, i think we're fucked.

Really? It is surprising to stop relying on whales.

well, anything stake-based is kinda flawed because the biggest stake holders don't actually care about the platform. especially on steemit, whales have way too much power (when crypto is all about decentralization)

Does that mean that it will be decentralized by SMT? That is amazing for me.

By the way, when SMT is launched, what do you think the price of Steem will be?

hopefully SMT would bring more decentralization. one thing i'm worried about is that steemit inc has never embraced decentralization in the first place. they always wanted to be the center piece of literally everything related to steem.

i'm afraid ned doesn't have enough humility in him to be a facilitator rather than a dictator.

but if smt does kinda work as they market it, then steem price might go up. otherwise, it would have to rely on the general crypto market as it always did.
