The Bermuda Triangle and its mysteries

in #blog7 years ago

The Bermuda Triangle also known as the Devil's Triangle is a region in the north Atlantic ocean where ships and aircrafts are said to have gone missing mysteriously and over a thousand lives have been lost over the past 100 years. The infamous Bermuda triangle is not new to us. The triangle is between the port of Miami, Puerto rico and the Bermuda island.

The region of the Bermuda triangle is one of the most heavily travelled areas at sea in the world as ships and planes go through to get to America and Europe. There are many conspiracies about the mystery of the triangle, some believe it is used by aliens who use it to travel to and from our planet while they carry ships and aircrafts to their planets for research. Others believe that remains of the lost city of Atlantis which was once below the triangle is still triangle is still transmitting huge waves of energy which destroys everything above the area, others believe that the triangle is haunted by the souls of African slaves who were thrown over board by the captain of ships on the way to the states. There are many other conspiracies but what really is the cause of the triangle's mystery?

Many scientists with their different levels of experience and intelligence have come up with different explanations concerning the triangle's mystery.

-some have blamed it on tropical cyclones. A Tropical cyclone is a rapidly rotating storm with a low-pressure centre, strong winds, thunderstorm and heavy rain. Tropical cyclones were blamed for the sinking of the pride of Baltimore in 1986.

-some other scientists like Dr Karl Kruszelnicki has blamed it on human error. He said that the number of ships missing in the triangle is just same as anywhere in the world as it could be the fault of the engineering of the ship or aircraft or a fault on the side of the captain or pilot.

-some have put the blame on electronic fogs which sticks to ships or aircrafts and causes malfunction of some mechanical parts thereby causing sinking or crashing.

-the latest explanation says that the disappearances are caused by the very strong and fast winds called air bombs moving at about 170mph caused by the clouds and are forced to come crashing down towards the sea hitting the aircrafts or ships with incredible velocity causing the ships to sink or the aircraft to crash.

The Bermuda triangle is still a mystery although many scientists claim to have solved it, none has been generally accepted. Will the mystery really ever be solved?
