Disaster on our way to Rome 🎯🤬🤯

in #blog7 years ago (edited)

Traveling from Minsk to Vilnius Airport on the way to Rome with my wife. We thought it will be a calm wait for the plane at the airport. But as always, our family always finds adventures.

As we arrived at the Airport check-in desk, my wife noticed that her pink bag was missing. The bus has already left towards Vilnius city. My head begins to brainstorm and get ideas about what can be done.

I take out our bus tickets to see a number I can call to contact the driver. No luck, at 5 a.m. nobody is there to answer, so we run to get a taxi to catch the damn bus.

Our taxi driver is doing 120 km/h to catch it. I grab my wife’s hand, and tell her that everything will be just fine. Later she told me that she almost cried back than, because she felt that support from me.

In just 7-10 minutes we arrive at the bus station and I run to find the bus. Have noticed two guys who traveled on the bus with us. They tell me that the bus just left that way. But I don’t see it anywhere in sight.

All the information desks are still closed, but we found one lady who was willing to help us. She gave us the number of the agency, which in turn gave me the phone number of the driver. Whoooh

He told us that he will return it to us in 30 minutes and guess what, wait for it... he did. Just saved outselves 500 EURO of valuables.

Rewarded the bus driver and the woman who helped us. Everybody is happy.

Try to help people, the more the better

Disaster was  meant to happen on the first step of our journey, but it did not because of kind people around us and our attitude to not give up.

Hehe, very true. We had a morning Run 🏃‍♀️ 🏃

This world is still a nice place because of some good fellows are still on this world. That driver and the lady were admirable. Really they did a good job.

Yeah they did even thoug they did not have to. We motivated them to help others ;))
