in #blog3 years ago

Each and every institution has its history.Ups and downs pave the the ways all along.Zaphany Hill school is no exception.☺️
As the the Chinese adage goes "A journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step"
This is how we began establishing our compound on my peace of land.

Our children used these temporary structures for about 6 years.
Then the structures were worn out. The rains started raining right into their rooms, which was a big draw back then.

The rains were so strong that even their pit latrine structures came down.

We thank God good Samaritans came in and helped put up the latrines first.

Then the classrooms needed new structures and we went for a new structural plan which had to be approved by the government.

Before the foundation was laid,we had to gather the building material that were needed. This included gravel, sand, murram, stones and cement. We used gravel to make building blocks which can be seen below alongside other building materials.

Soon after the foundation excavation and laying the foundation commenced.

We proceeded to work on the walls.

Eventually you can see this structure standing here.

Thank you for going through. Be blessed
