- Do not press buttons and keys.
- Do not shake or click on the phone.
- Do not try to blow it from the water. This can only exacerbate the problem, because under the pressure of the air, water penetrates even deeper.
- Do not heat or freeze your smartphone.
8 STEPS TO SAVE YOUR SMARTPHONE:
Turn it off if you have not already done so and keep it upright. Let the water run down.
Remove the back cover if possible. Pull out the microSD and the SIM card from the slots.
Remove the battery, if possible.
Take a cloth or paper towel and pat the smartphone dry.
Now you need to remove moisture from the inside. The simplest and most common way is to put the smartphone in a package with rice. The rice is hygroscopic and removes all moisture within a day or two. I advise you to also look in the boxes from under the shoes, there often are such bags for removing water. You can use them. In extreme cases, simply place the device in a draft, avoiding direct sunlight. No batteries, stoves, etc ..
As a rule, it takes one or two days to dry. Now you can insert the battery and cards and turn it on. If everything started, try playing music to check the speakers and check the responsiveness of the touch screen.
If your smartphone does not want to turn on at all, then try charging it. If it did not work out, the battery might still be damaged, replace it. Well, sometimes it takes a little longer to dry. If all the same the smartphone remained a lifeless "brick", then take it to the service, can there help.
If your smartphone is turned on and everything works as it should, then do not rush to rejoice. Test a few days, drive the games, look at how much battery is enough. As a rule, some consequences still exist and such a device is no longer very reliable. It is not without reason that in European markets such "drowned people" are often sold.
