What a beautiful, sharp, heartfelt and painful poem! I can feel the hurt, the confusion, the anger, the fear, and the determination of Colette so strongly through her writing.
I'm glad they got their little one, Zebedee and that Colette is a positive fighter. And it is fantastic news that the hospital in Turkey is able to treat her. Colette does need to live on, for her little son, her husband, her friends, her community and for whatever she can further accomplish in life.
Your sincerity and wishes for her recovery are obvious. One only needs to look at the title of this post to understand this. It must be highly comforting for Tim and Colette that they have such a wonderful friend like you looking out for them.
I've upvoted and resteemed. But I want to help more. I understand only too well what it is like fighting with the big C, having gone through the drill myself a few months ago... You know that I don't make much yet. But, all the posts and SBD earnings I make for a week starting today, I will dedicate to Colette and her family. I know it might not amount to much, but I hope the thought helps. And it will undoubtedly come with my love and my very best wishes for a fellow warrior and Mom plastered on it, to cushion Colette as she fights this all important battle. May she recover completely with no debts and lead a happy, long and fulfilled life with her family, friends and eco-community.
Thank you so much @sandzat, I will never forget this. I love this place so much, you people are amazing
Thank you @sandzat for introducing me to this post. I will upvote and resteem this worthy cause. Much of my family on my mother's side is no stranger to cancer. God bless!
