I've tried to engage him in chat to have a reasonable conversation. It wasn't helpful. From my perspective, he's not the most emotionally mature person and prefers name calling to rational debate, but that's just my perspective based on what others have said and my own interactions with him. Maybe someday I could do a live Google hangout with him and talk to him in real time to better understand where he's coming from. Might be interesting.
