RE: HIVE COULD BE A VERY GOOD PLATFORM

Yeah. Like I said, it's difficult to talk about and I often feel like I've wasted my time. LoL fuck... give it a week or two, someone else will be on my case with some bullshit. Goes nowhere.

Did I draw that? Looks like a closeup of a cartoon character of mine. LOL people are even afraid of those fucking things lol (the world has gone soft).

Yeah that's one of yours - I have hundreds of images saved from Steemit days

And yes I've heard your story about selling, numerous times. I made some moves back in the steem days and had some beginners luck trading. Kept this pile here. Got a few others. Not into bragging though. Just do my own thing. I planned for this pile to go up and down over the years so the value isn't on my mind at all. There's more to this Hive stuff than just the social scene so I find it difficult to subscribe to the whole doom and gloom surrounding downvotes. Several other platforms utilize some form of "dislike" button. Youtube would probably be the biggest and AI needs it for training. That just the way the world went.

I figured that was mine. Nobody else draws like that...

Certainly an old one.

You know pretty much everything I've done on both the Steemit and Hive blockchains and it would be bloody difficult to have a decent argument with you without repeating anything I've ever said in the past seven years!

But in this case I particularly want to emphasis to certain insiders that they are directly responsible for making me a decent amount of $ in the hope it really pisses them off.

It boggles my mind, because I always assumed they were AI but even spankinator seems to be repeatedly reading my posts and comments. WTF? Note that the downvote from yesterday on this post has now been removed. That is manual activity, so there appears to be an actual person taking note of this conversation. I am amused :)

I'm assuming they either find their petty downvotes an embarrassment, or they want to lull me into turning the rewards back on for my next post so they can give me 56 downvotes again and wipe my $2 rewards, while they beat themselves off.

Yeah, there are a few things I talk about that are often on repeat. That's just life. I wasn't saying that to knock you down.

Reverse engineer your conspiracy theories. Watch how nearly everyone like you thought ditching their stake would somehow negatively impact The Haters.

The result. Everyone like you now has literally no say when it comes to the direction of this platform. Most of those like you can't even upvote the content you'd prefer and instead have to depend on a centralized entity (Resonator as an example).

So to generalize, alternative news and whatnot, fucked themselves, out of spite. To top it off, the consumers also go around claiming the platform is "censored", scaring away their own people. Meanwhile stakeholders are the ones defending them, saying the platform is not censored.

I've been studying this for years dude. I once wrote, "What you don't see behind closed doors is you, walking up to them."

It was an inside job. That's my theory. But I'm not saying you're the insider. More like just another one who got steered over a cliff by their own wheel.

Now I realize this might not sit well with you. It's just my own observations. A similar thing happens with a lot of other content styles.

Notice how people still complain, "No such thing as shortform here!" They ignore the advancements like that leo threads platform, and others. They run with that narrative and scare folks away from learning about these other options. Sadly many in love with LEO centralized their stake through delegation as well, potentially sacrificing its success, for short term gains. Very few can actually support threads with votes. But many produce threads expecting votes of some kind.

I pay a lot of attention to this ecosystem. The ins, outs, and all the betweens.

That VYB thing wasn't quite a failure, but did not reach its full potential. Part of the reason was because the most outspoken people against downvotes quickly dumped their VYB rather than embracing the new design, which was something they claimed would be a requirement. All talk, no action. Pretended it no longer existed and went back to saying the place is doomed. Sometimes I wonder which government they're working for. Of course that's going to tinfoil hat territory.

I'm not going to claim I've ever fully understood what goes on in these parts. But there was a point about two years ago when two of the chosen bloggers getting extremely high payouts for all their posts both suddenly started posting "GET YOUR VAX" propaganda.

From that point on their already over valued posts started getting even higher payouts. Are you going to pretend that didn't happen? (Yes, I could name them but I'm not trying to stir up bad history so I won't)

Two years later they are still among the chosen ones. One does some pretty good posts but the other is posting nothing but utter crap and being worshiped like a god. His writing is so poor that I seriously wonder if the account is AI.

I don't remember seeing anything pro vax, on here at least. You'd have to show me and maybe I'd remember. I had a great time studying the corporate media approach. Studied reactions as well. Easily one of the darkest periods in human history. We'll all be dead before the lessons are learned, unfortunately.

Saw a lot of anti vax mainly, all over social media as well. I had some satire written up shedding light on a situation I found to be quite peculiar. The anti-vax crowd was so loud, while at the same time claiming to be censored nonstop. Had some art made up with a crowd inside a glass box with their fingers in their ears all saying the same thing but somehow unable to hear themselves. Whole thing just seemed so absurd to me.

Of course I learned society wasn't quite ready to laugh at themselves just yet. Scrapped it. It would have been interpreted as me playing for the wrong team or whatever. I discovered it was difficult for people to grasp my position, which was basically me turning my back on the entire thing and viewing both teams as one unit I didn't want to be a part of.

For me at the time I felt like I was living in a simulation if I put too much focus on media. Avoided becoming a consumer, to the best of my abilities, so I wouldn't become a product of the media or the "environment" at the time. That's how they get you.

Did you know if you removed the "chosen ones" element from your thought process, you'd be able to criticize with confidence rather than fear?

And that is not even counting a third even bigger pro "vax" top name account I can't name! But you know all three...
