I know you're doing the Blurt thing but I haven't really checked how much people are earning over there. Blurt in addition to Steem have consensus mechanisms that I don't agree with that somewhat invalidates the rewards. Although nothing can completely invalidate the reward if new users can sign up and get some. Considering none of these platforms have gone viral in the third world where earning $1 an hour is a (barley) livable wage is a striking damnation of all of them.
I've always been of the opinion that we need to figure out how to monetize other valuable activities.
Easier said then done I'm afraid.
