When potential investors in a crypto platform consider getting involved, they primarily check out the token price history, and the state of the community. How is Blurt looking at the moment?
Price
Blurt price action hasn't been great lately. In fact, it has never been great, except in November 2021 when ALL cryptos did well.

That's a logarithmic BLURT price from the start, priced in US Dollars. This is what investors pull up when they're looking into a coin. What they see here in an obvious long-term downtrend, there's just no other way to say it. It looks bad.
They'll notice that the price has only been lower 2 times - January 2023 and May 2023. They'll also notice that the only bullish moment on the entire chart was when Bitcoin had its big move up to $69,000 USD in late 2021. That event dragged up the entire crypto sphere as inflows "rose all boats". They'll also notice BLURT gave up ALL those gains (and more) once Bitcoin pulled back in mid-2022.
Realizing BLURT has never had its own bull run, they'll probably switch the chart to be priced in BTC, and they'll see this:

Essentially a straight line from the start to the present. BLURT has never been cheaper, priced in other cryptos.
Put together, this says to potential investors: "STAY AWAY! Big risk!"
But big risk can mean big reward, right? A few potential investors will give us a second chance, in the hopes that we are a "diamond in the rough" which simply hasn't been discovered yet. To gauge if that might be the case, they'll go looking at the platform itself, especially the state of the community.
Community
Like it or not, they'll use the "main" (official) frontend, BlurtBlog. What posts would they see, if they checked it right now?

This is where we're doing a little better, my friends! We do have some good content-creators on this platform, and the curators do a reasonable job of elevating the best to the forefront.
Without singling anyone out, I do notice some trends:
- increasing amount of A.I.-generated text, most of it being passed off as human content
- a few whales posting banal unoriginal content (aka shitposts) and buying their way onto "Trending" by paying UpvU to vote for it
- low-quality posts that pledge to burn a large portion of the rewards, earning it a massive vote from CTime, and a spot on the "Hot" tab
- the "New" tab is pretty awful... the average Blurt post isn't something we want potential investors to see. Let's hope they don't look there!
- curation projects posting that they curated posts... and asking to be curated for doing so... and many of the posts they curated are themselves other curation posts... This says "we have a lot of content that is circular self-promoting nonsense".
But I do see plenty of good posts on the "Trending" and "Hot" tabs. The platform appears to be working properly, the community is active and vibrant, and the posts are interesting, aesthetic, and informative. I think this is our strength.
Overall
Our price history looks bad, let's admit that. There are no green candles, bars, or shoots. We've only gone up when EVERYTHING went up in late 2021, and otherwise have consistently gone down. The price has never been lower than it is now.
But that could entice some buyers, if they like what they see in the community. From what I can tell, we look fairly good.
My current take is that potential investors will mostly be scared off by our dismal price history, but a few will give us a chance based on the platform itself being functional, active, and populated by quality content creators.
Here's my take on how price, content, and investment drive eachother:

We're having trouble with the price, but our content is pretty good. What we need now is either for another crypto bull run (Bitcoin over $50k) or for some investors to take notice of us. That should finally help set off the first ever BLURT bull run.
I'm holding my million (and growing) - no selling, just more powering up.

Hopefully this helps some Blurt users understand what a potential investor might be looking for, and maybe even how they could contribute toward making that happen. Keep up the outstanding creation and curation!
