2018 BMW 4 Series 440i Coupe
The power output of the petrol-engined BMW 4 Series models range from 135 kW / 184 hp in the BMW 420i up to 240 kW / 326 hp in the BMW 440i. When it comes to the diesel line-up, which doesn’t come to the United States, the power spectrum extends from 140 kW / 190 hp in the BMW 420d up to the 230 kW / 313 hp of the BMW 435d xDrive. The new 2018 4 Series now come with a stiffer suspension which sharpens the handling yet somehow does it without loss of ride comfort. Both the lateral and longitudinal dynamics have been improved, regardless of the load on board. This applies not only to the standard suspension, but also to the M Sport suspension and the Adaptive suspension. All new BMW 4 Series models now boast even more assured straight-line stability and more communicative steering.2018 BMW 5 Series M550i
BMW has announced an M Performance 5-series, coming to our shores as a 2018 model. The M550i xDrive should satisfy those customers who fancy themselves a sports car enthusiast, but don't want all that pesky sports car power. The M Performance cars are a bit more tossable than their standard offerings, but keep the power a bit lower so you can keep speeding tickets at bay. While the M5 sedan has 560 horses under the hood, the M550i will get a slightly more practical 456 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque. All that slightly more sane fun emanates out of a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine. BMW says peak torque comes on at a low 1,800 rpm and that the sedan can scoot from a standstill to 60 mph in four seconds flat.

The 6 Series base 640i trim is outfitted with a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder engine mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and good for 315 hp and 330 lb-ft of torque. The 640i Gran Coupe can reach 60 mph in a rather quick 5.2 seconds, while the equivalent Convertible variant won’t be too far behind. The 640i will get fuel-economy numbers of 20 mpg city, 29 highway, and 23 combined with rear-wheel drive (RWD) and 19, 28, and 22 with xDrive all-wheel drive (AWD).2018 BMW 7 Series M760Li and and M760i
The 2018 BMW M760Li xDrive comes with a TwinPower Turbo lump that generates 610 horses at 5,500rpm with a peak torque of 590 lb-ft, making this luxury vehicle more powerful than a few notable supercars. Its 0-60mps is at a whopping 3.6 seconds. Imagine a car this size, 5,238mm long, weighing 2.2 tons, and that speed.
