MY 2005 325it 5spd
My love for BMW's goes back much further than this wagon and I have no clue where my love for wagons comes from.
The first one was called Helga. She was what came from deciding that I wanted to drift again but knowing that I no longer was interested in the S chassis or the ae86. I owned and drifted/ raced both but was ready to re-invent myself as a driver.
The next was the 89 535i. I picked this one up for $700 and it needed a clutch and a tune up. This car was meant to be the daily driver to the track e36. This one needs a head now but we still own it in hopes that one day my dad and I will revive it.
All the while looking for a wagon. I still can't explain that part. But I do know that the best part about this car is absolutely the massive space behind me with the enjoyment of driving a 5spd car. Now I dont thrash on it but I dont drive it like an old lady either. It doesnt leak (shocking at 185,000 miles) always starts, gets me about 24mpg and can drag a 3 day camping setup for 2 families.
This car has taken my Girlfriend @shawtyrokdoowop on some wonderful adventures and I hope for many more. As long as I can keep it up this car is here to stay as my daily, project, adventure, and labor of love.
Cool. E39 here.

Following your comment I had to check out your page to see if there are any blue and white roundels to be found and sure as hell I wasn't disappointed :).
Sweet pictures man and cool selection you got there. That ratty E36 with the JDM style neon rims - awesome!
I also daily an E46 sedan, 215.000 miles on the clock and going strong! Might have to write up a blog on that thing at some point...it was on fire once...at a gas station...and I'm still driving it today so...true story.
Haha glad you like it man. The E36 was by far my favorite but it's funny you say that about it . I did start out with cars on the japanese side of things with 86's and 240sx's.
That is absolutely insane about your e46 being on fire!! Definately write out that cars story !!
Yeah I'll get that story out some time soon. It was an electrical fire which I couldn't kill with the extinguisher so I ripped the connector off to disconnect the battery...at a gas station.
Love the 240SX...thanks to Kaz and Gran Turismo I feel I know these cars even though I've never driven one.
AAHH Electrical gremlins are the worst. But yes between gran turismo and forza I feel like i've driven hundreds of cars and track I otherwise would never have the chance. I am still patiently waiting for #GTSPORT or #GT7 whatever they are gonna call it.
