Seine boat or seine small boat (Praho pukat, lancang pukat or rancang pukat) is a special boat for fishing by using a seine. it is the long but narrow seine boat with bow (ulee or capeng) and pointed stern (likot or iku). It has the long steering (keumudoe dong) placed on a steering wheel (caga ‘) which is shaped like a fork in the stern and on the top there is a heap with a bracelet (gleueng) from a woven rattan and held by one person while standing. The boat is usually paddled (dayong) by using six long paddles by six
rowers (ureueng meudayong).
The blade of the paddle is called on, the shaft is called a ganda or go. The boat consists of a keel (lunah) and a hull made of boards.
All the boards are united with rims (gadeng or geunadeng). In one geunadeng there is a so-called geunadeng ceurapu that has two
holes as a place to mount the mast. The connected metal sheets (seuneurong) are installed on the stern and the bow to strengthen the body of the boat. Seine board is rarely used for fishing in the sea (mupayang) because it requires two boats to pull a seine. Meanwhile, fishing with seine boat on the seaside, it requires one unit of boat only
