I am with you on this and it is not something I am a fan of as I believe it does in some ways class you. Gangs use them to distinguish between each other and tell stories of their criminal past. I know not that long ago the bigger blue chip companies would not hire anyone with an ear ring let alone a tattoo. One interview I held I told the guy to put a plaster over his ear as his piercings were visible. Lets just say he was lucky to be hired and I know it is still frowned upon. Tattoos are not allowed to be visible at work either so long sleeve shirts are a must for anyone having those dreaded sleeve tattoos because thy can be off putting and it just would not be professional having them on view.
My daughter had her tongue pierced when she was under age and I paid that shop a visit after entering and locking the door behind me which got their attention real quick. Personally I find them scummy and most definitely not a fan.
Tongue piercings send a message and not one that you want a daughter, especially an underage one sending. There are meant to be repercussions for establishments that do these things for minors so if all that happened to them was to be shouted at by an angry father, they got off easy.
I recall a rather pretty girl I worked with at a restaurant that had a tattoo on her hand, one that cannot be hidden and I was just like "you don't like jobs very much do you?"
It is crazy what people do. I remember a guy had I hate work tattooed on his knuckles and they make themselves unemployable.
well that guy took it to the next level. What inspires a tattoo of that sort? Just someone that is planning on being a welfare recipient early in life.
Yes they have no intention of working and unless they have wealthy parents a burden on society.
