With so many labels that I put on myself -- avid reader, book lover, Susan Sontag maniac, I figured I am walking far on the road of reading. As I keep walking, book reviews came into my mind as quite an important part in the book reading journey. Some book reviews are written by PhD candidates, some are written by publishers, professionals, one thing I found in common is that --
They all use the same style of "book review" language, which is dull, plain for me.
When superlative is used on every single blurb, it gives no connection to its potential readers. Can you relate?
Therefore, I would like to use this place for my book reviews. Some of those are written years ago, but of course revised [I've been written book reviews on Goodreads for years, and is ranked No.1 best reviewer, and also reviewed the most in Macau region.]; some of them are reviews of newly published books.
For readers who are looking for inspiring new books with certain topic, welcome; for people who want to save a bit time from banal style book reviews, welcome; for blockchain enthusiasts, so a ledger is also a book right? Not all book geeks are into blockchain, and not all blockchain geeks are into books either, here is an overlap, so... WELCOME!
Last but not least, I'm going to say something not cliché:
Feels are my own.
