Perhaps reach out to him personally? I have a feeling he is not responsible for this action himself. He might be appalled that someone from his legal team is doing this. Perhaps it's not any of his people at all! One of my YouTube videos was copyright flagged for the music I used. The track was purchased through a 3rd party. I contacted the composer and he was sooo mad that YT flagged me! He contacted them personally and the flag was gone in minutes.
Hope you get it cleared up, and maybe gain a friend in the meantime. If not, at least you know from the source.
