The Innovators: How a Group of Hackers, Geniuses, and Geeks Created the Digital Revolution
In The Innovators, Walter Isaacson takes the reader on a 500 page journey through the history of the computer and the Internet. Beginning with the computer’s unlikely origins in the mid-19th century, The Innovators provides a detailed account of all of the famous and unknown geniuses and geeks who created the technological landscape of today. Though I found it fascinating, this book probably isn’t for everyone; if you’re not very titillated by the invention of the transistor, this might not be the book for you.
