What's the guarantee that the $7.5 vote you gave for 20 Steems will result in value equal to 20 Steems or more when the payout is finalized 7 days later?

booster is VERY confusing, looking at it through the steembot tracker. It seems to ALWAYS show a negative return - I hope the people using it know what they're doing. Other bots show 3x and 4x returns.
I can't say that I understand the math behind booster.
I have received gains in the past, but I'll stay away for now.
