Back to @Booster's original settings and now we are adding a new VIP-Feature for Very Important Posts we think will benefit all parties more fair than before!
@Booster will work just like before - but if a single bidder pays a PREMIUM I.E. Someone really want to promote their post, then they can send from $250 and above and instead of dwarfing all the other customers, they are simply moved to the next voting-window making it a bit more safe to use @Booster when someone with a lot of SBD wants to dominate.
They may have a Very Important Post to get up on trending. In the old system if someone paid a big premium, that would leave the rest of the @Booster users with an incredible small and "unfair" upvote, so we hope this change will be benefiting both the rich and the poor as @Booster continues to be an incredible tool to promote your post.
The @Frontrunner Guild also vote 100% on VIPs
Worth noticing that when you buy a VIP, you also get additional votes from many other accounts that track and frontrun @Booster because it is very profitable for them to do so, and creates a win/win situation for everyone.

Let's say your bid is so high that it will receive more than a 75% upvote, you will then instead receive a 100% upvote and all the other participants will be moved to the next voting-window instead of sharing the remaining 25%.

It's because you sent Steem, and not Steem Dollars. I made the same mistake, I sent 10 though. Hopefully we will get a refund.
Do you also get vote and boosts if you post more than 2 a day?

Boosters VIP function is about getting domination attention. You are buying full dominance from @Booster & @Frontrunner. @Booster did give you a full upvote, which today is worth $72 due to the price of STEEM being so low. However, the node that @Frontrunner was on had technical problems and did not deliver the votes your VIP article deserved.
Buying Dominance does not give you your money back, it is a tool for getting attention and is always sold at a premium to avoid speculations.
The philosophy behind the function is that more dollars + more people upvoting = more real people reading your article, upvote, follow and resteem. It is a blockchain way to "buy advertisement in the newspaper" to bring awareness and followers to your blog as your article is bumped on the trending/most valuable post/lists.

Ive always loved booster and it has helped me along nicely a few times. But like all upvote bots popularity also has a downside. Im looking forward to learn what the VIP program entails. If it can ensure a fair profit share of the investment made for everyone it can surely become THE BEST service available out there. Steemit cant get enough of these services and the roof is really where we / you set it. The vote will never be high enough and will be filled to the brim with bids each round. Usually the @Booster System with @Frontrunner is profitable but we can of course not ensure a profit because nobody can predict how many participants there will be in each round, but the new feature will ensure that ex. 30 participants are not being squeezed by 1 high rolling participant. Instead the High Roller gets a 100% upvote while the 30 other participants are moved to the next voting-window and will receive their votes next round instead.

But you have mentioned that for VIP vote one need to send 250 sbd and above, your total vote worth is 72 sbd at the moment, then one should send 250 sbd to get a vote of 72 sbd worth even if you vote at full 100%.
