To increase quality we will implement a new set of standards for Booster Promotion Services!
After a very constructive and positive talk on SteemChat´s Steem Solutions Talk we have decided to create a new standard in order to target more serious and quality-focused steemians to upvote instead of keeping up with the status quo where we have had a LOT of complains from reputable users about our services benefit people who have no real interest in STEEM other then milk every token possible from our ecosystem and dump it for Bitcoins as quickly as possible. This hurt the integrity of our front page but also it hurts the marketcap/price of STEEM.
With these (small) changes we believe that our services will be more attractive to people who wish to SHOW & GROW on STEEM. We want to make content creators who invest time, money and talent with integrity and passion a real chance to succeed.
We Want Great Posts on the top and ShitPosts at the bottom!
So this is what will be required of you to be able to use BOOSTER for Upvoting your Posts:
- You need to have Minimum 100 SteemPower on your account to use Booster!
- You need to have written and published Minimum 10 Posts and 20 comments from your account before you can use Booster.
- If you are a Blacklisted user (containing 43,000+ accounts) then you cannot purchase upvote until you have been whitelisted which you can become after publishing real content worth reading/watching/listening to for the audience.
- If a Moderator determine that your posts is mediocre or of very low quality, you will be put on the GRAY list which will only allow you to use Booster every 24 hours in order for you to focus on your quality post instead of rushing through and publish a shitpost which should not be promoted and sent to the top of the Trending List!
With HardFork 21 and 22 we are living on the New Steem and we expect a change for the better
Normal, regular users should not feel threatened by these changes, they will be implemented and adjusted to fight what the community see as spammers/scammers/plagiarists/low quality shitposters, shills etc.
We think these standards will make more people happy and our users more successful and the readers of the top trending posts more cheerful as the quality go up.

I'm not saying this solves everything. But I like to see people have a reasonable discussion for what is at least a better direction to go than where it has been.
Also, you won't get everyone in a dpos blockchain to agree with you on everything. Some clearly see a role for bidbots, others dont.
I see no role for bidbots or vote selling. The role of bots is leeching the reward pool and creating inflation.
Promotion is an excuse because front ends wont take control of their trending page which they should because there is absolutely no need for content placement to have anything to do with vote values.
I see a role of front ends in marketing and promotion.
Go pay steemit.inc or steempeak for a spot on the top of the trending page. Support their development and get exposure.
Not give money to a middleman that leeches of rewardpool draining transactions that lack any proof of brain. (Proof of greed)
Promotion should burn steem or sbd as it was intended, not reduce the price of steem by creating "dumb inflation" (no proof of brain) and destroying the image of steem in the crypto world and making it look like a pay yourself scam run by bots.

This principle is the foundation of society. Sticks have no place voting and pretending to opinions alongside people, and they also have no ability to do so. Bots are the same as sticks, but have the ability to do what they should not.
Granting devices the rights and responsibilities of people degrades people. Allowing avarice to blur this line in the sand will be consequential in a world where a robot has already been granted citizenship by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Steem pays a price for allowing avarice to destroy society. That price is paid in capital losses, affecting each and every wallet owned by an actual person. Ending the ability of bots to be employed to extract rewards will enable that price to stop being paid.
Nothing else will.
Society is far more valuable than mere money. Most are unaware of what is really valuable, distracted by shiny objects they have been indoctrinated to seek above all else. Steem is revealing the consequences to society such ignorance effects.
Build society. Prosperity will follow. Capital gains FTW.
If it preserves some of my downvote to be used elsewhere, it's an incremental win. I'll take it.

Great to hear this. I was listening in on some of the discussion yesterday. I could see from some of your comments before that you were a little frustrated by the changes in Steem and how people were using them, but you sounded calmer on Discord. There are some valid uses for buying votes, but having people use them on 'shitposts' does not benefit Steem. We need trending to be better quality if we want to attract new users and investors.

Yeah interesting indeed. I like the fact that this @Booster is doing things in such a way that promotes not just anyone and everyone. But with a strict criteria. It shows integrity. Good changes. However, bidbots are going to be an easy way to lose money. There should be changes to cope with the new curation.
The more risk, the more reward! Do it right and limit the risk exposure, do it wrong loose money, sounds about right!

There are 1.3 Million accounts on STEEM, which is a 3 year and 4 month old blockchain. So of course there has been many who have done whatever they could to gain profits by using multiple accounts with bots to do anything from circle-jerking content to mass-abuse the upvote bots (including me) in order to gain on their non-human content.
We do believe that among those accounts is only a few handful of people with extraordinary knowledge about STEEM and Engineering + some real life assholes ;)

The majority of accounts blacklisted are multiaccount farms. Some have 10-20 accounts, some a few hundred, and one even has 23K or so.
yeah one of the account farms i was attacking on DW had 430 accounts. alas, since the maps update, none of them have reactivated :(

This is really good for those that write in english. So for those that try to put them own tongue on the steem ecosystem should have develop something like that for. Never mind this is good for the ecosystem and for everyone on that.
i understand that people feel they have to write in english to 'get noticed' but in my opinion, you're better to write in native language. worst-case scenario, the reader 'translates to english' via google.
